If you are interested in participating in any of the 2012 indoor archery leagues, or simply want to learn more about the various leagues offered, you will not want to miss this night.

Free shooting will be offered from 5:00-9:00 pm. League organizers will be available from 6:00-9:00 pm to answer any questions and take your registration for the various leagues.

A bow setup/ tuning seminar will be held at 7:00 pm in the upper-level range. If you know someone who is interested in the sport of archery, bring them along to see the Nishu Archery complex and learn about the 2012 leagues and tournaments being offered by Nishu Bowmen.


Target League will be held on Monday evenings beginning January 9th at 6:30 pm. The cost of this league will be $50.00 per person. If you are interested in shooting and would like to join a team, contact Steve Arnold at 220-5679 for more information.

Team Animal League will be held on Tuesday evening’s beginning January 10th at 6:30 pm. The cost of this league will be $50.00 per person. If you are interested in shooting and would like to join a team, contact Joe Ness at 400-9826 for more information.

Morning Animal League this daytime league will be held on Wednesday mornings beginning January 11th with an organizational meeting at 8:45 am to determine the interest in hosting this league. Be prepared to shoot. The cost of this league will be $50.00 per person. Participants must arrive on time for a shotgun start at 9:00 am weekly.

Traditional/Short Yardage Animal League will be on Wednesday evenings beginning January 11th at 6:30 pm. The cost of this league will be $50.00 for adult members, $75 for Nishu Family members or $25 for youth. Contact Bill Helphrey at 255-0192 for more information.

Women’s/Intermediate Target League will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning January 11th at 6:30 pm. The cost of this league will be $50.00 per person. For more information contact Lisa Engelstad at 400-2510.

Individual Animal League. The Nishu Bowmen will host our Individual 3-D & Animal League on Thursday nights only beginning on January 12th at 6:30 pm. The cost of this league will be $50.00 for adult members, $75 for Nishu Family members and $25 for youth (14<) members. Persons not participating in the league can also shoot on Thursday night for a nightly rate of $8.00/night for members and $10.00/night for non-members, $4.00/night for youth members.

Youth Animal League. The Nishu Bowmen will host a Youth 3-D Animal League on Sunday evenings beginning January 15th from 7:00–8:00 pm at the Nishu Bowmen Archery Complex. The cost will be $25.00 per shooter; kids ages 9 to 14 are welcome to participate. All participants must have their own archery equipment and be a member of Nishu Bowmen (Youth $25.00). This league is not included in the Nishu Family league package. For more information about this league, contact Kendall Bauer at (701) 255-2369.
